4 Series JL-401 Wire-in Photocell 120-277V

The photocontrol JL-401C is applicable to control the garden lighting, passage lighting and doorway lighting automatically in accordance with the ambient natural lighting level. Further, a preset 10-30 seconds time-delay might avoid redundancy operation due to spotlight or lightning during the night time.

Install Instruction

* Disconnect the power and insert the threaded end of the light control device into the mold release hole, securing it with a rubber pad and locking nut.

* Wire according to the diagram below.

* During installation, avoid positioning the photosensitive hole towards artificial or reflected light. This may cause the light to cycle on and off throughout the night.

Initial Test

· During the initial installation, the photocell typically requires a few minutes to turn off.

· To test the "on" function during the day, cover the photocell with an opaque material. 

· Do not use your fingers to cover it, as light passing through your fingers may be sufficient to activate the photocell switch. ·The photocell test takes approximately 2 minutes. 

* The operation of this photocell is unaffected by weather conditions, humidity, or temperature changes.
